Help for Homeschool with Studydotcom

One great thing about Study.com is that it's a massive data base of lessons, teacher plans and full courses. You can utilize the content in various ways to help you achieve the goals you have for your homeschool.

You might decide to use full courses from Study.com and have your child work sequentially through the lessons.

On top of this, you might add in more hands on projects to flesh out the unit study.

Alternatively you might use Study.com to flesh out other curriculum you are using and to hone in on concepts that merit more time and study.

I took a look at some of the elementary material this week (out of curiosity as my kids are high schoolers) and appreciated seeing this "additional activities" section in a grade 4 Social Studies unit. (see photo).

Things like this allow you to use the base of the curriculum but add more if you so choose. I know it can be a lot to think of various ideas about how to expand on a curriculum so having prompts like this listed is a big help to many.

If you're interested in checking it out further you can use my code (click the link) to receive 25% off your first month subscription.

Where could you use additional homeschool support?
