We’re back with another exciting printable escape room and this one is SURVIVAL themed!
 
A storm has suddenly descended on the mountain you are hiking in Banff National Park separating the kids from the adults in the group. The students must use their knowledge of the foundations of wilderness survival to solve puzzles and retrieve codes that will build them a large signal fire and solidify their rescue.
 
Can your students:
 
🔥 Ensure they have fire for warmth?
 
🏕️ Find suitable shelter?
 
💦 Secure clean drinking water?
 
🌱 Forage food? 
 
🆘 Send out an SOS call? 
 
Everything you need to set up the escape room is included in the printable. Just print and cut out the clues and puzzles. Then you can create a simple escape room by hiding clues around the room. You can also make it as elaborate as you want by adding hiking and wilderness decor. 
 
Just a thought - but how fun would it be to set up the escape room in a tent? So fun!
 
This escape room does require reading so at least some members of the group should be able to read - other than that it works for a wide range of ages! Younger students just might require more clues than older ones. (One puzzle has an easier version for younger students as the older one requires algebra).
